What it Means to Repent

Except you repent, you will all likewise perish. – Luke 13:5 It is indifference that leaves people alone and allows them to go their own way. It is love, tender love, that warns them and raises the cry of alarm. The cry of “Fire! Fire!” at midnight might sometimes rudely, harshly, and unpleasantly startle a person out of his sleep, but who would complain if that cry was the means of saving his life? The words Except you repent, you will all likewise perish might at first seem stern and severe, but they are words of love, and they could be the means of delivering precious souls from hell.

Genuine Peace

Is it possible to experience genuine peace in a world filled with violence, sickness, and heartache? Dr. Stanley says the answer is a resounding "Yes!"

The Coming Demonic Invasion

"But we have to understand that there are these two mighty fortresses working in the unseen world, spiritual spheres, and all of us are on one side or the other. We either are a companion to God, or a companion to Satan. We are either those who take part with the holy angels in the enterprise of the advance of God’s kingdom, or we are engaged with demons in the expansion of the power of Satan. You’re either a saint or a sinner, and there’s nothing in between. And to doubt this reality is the most momentous mistake that a person can ever make, the most fatal error that you can ever make, because it has eternal consequences, eternal results. You might sort of simplify it by saying heaven is calling you through Jesus Christ and the gospel. At the same time, hell is calling you through Satan and his lies and deception. That’s going on all the time. It’s overt in our society, but it’s also beneath the surface in all the subtleties that Satan can manufacture." Source: John MacA...

Jesus Is Knocking At The Door To Your Heart: a powerful testimony

In conversation with Jordan Peterson, this is a powerful testimony by musician John Rich about how Jesus is knocking at the door to your heart. John's music video "Revelation" (below) is referenced in their conversation.

God Will Reveal His Plans For You

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

The Holy Spirit

At the end of chapter 15, we get the same kind of emphasis, verse 26: “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father.” Again, the Spirit of truth, emphasizing that this primary ministry is to provide the truth. “He will testify about Me. That’s what He is going to do, testify about Me. So He’s going to teach you. He’s going to bring to remembrance everything I said, and He’s going to teach you about Me.” That really sums up what the Holy Spirit does in revealing Scripture. Scripture is divine teaching. It is the record of all that Jesus did and said, and it is all the epistles and letters that tell us what His life and ministry meant: “All the things that relate to Me.” That’s the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Final Judgment Launched

The climactic final judgment, that takes Satan out of his place of dominion in the world and restores that dominion to the Lord Jesus Christ, is taking place in these visions that the Holy Spirit gives to the apostle John. The end of human control, the end of satanic control—it all comes to its conclusion as the seventh seal is opened. And one way to understand this seventh seal is to understand the judgment the Bible calls the Day of the Lord, the Day of the Lord. That’s a very important biblical title. It’s a term that describes God’s final, complete, comprehensive destruction, and death on the earth. It’s the finale of everything. Source:  Grace to you
