HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE

In this video R.C. Sproul explains the difference between the right way and the wrong way to read or study the Bible.

THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST

JESUS DECLARED THE SON OF GOD Romans 1: Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, 2 which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, 4  who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead... We can never understand the Holiness of God without first looking inward to face our sin and acknowledge the ugly and wretched nature of it all. A GOOD FRIDAY PRAYER

Lord Jesus, we celebrate Good Friday to remember the Precious and Holy Sacrifice that you made on behalf of us all. You offered your body to be nailed to a cross, to bleed and suffer extreme physical pain and torment such as no person has ever known, and suffer dishonor and humiliation at the hands of those who put you to death on that cross. You endured this suffering in order to save us and set us free from the consequences of our sins; the righteous penalty of suffering the misery of living in hell forever in painful physical, mental, and emotional torment. On Good Friday you poured out your love and mercy and paid the ultimate price to purchase our redemption. W e who believe your message of hope will be saved from the penalty of hell and be received by you in your Kingdom to experience the blessings of living eternal life with you forever. You are our Redeemer, our Lord, and our God. We can't possibly thank you enough for all that you have done for us, but we do thank you!!...

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PASSOVER AND EASTER
